Morgan Burgard, LLMSW
Clinical Social Worker
I believe everyone deserves a therapist who works with them to achieve their therapeutic goals, whether that be exploring difficult emotions, finding healthy coping mechanisms, improving relationships, or anything that allows you to move forward in the healing process.
My therapeutic approach begins by creating a safe and accepting environment that allows you to feel comfortable. This provides a space where we can begin to explore and work together through overwhelming emotions, past trauma, psychological distress (like depression and/or anxiety). I utilize mostly Strength-Based approaches, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, parts work, and Internal Family Systems.
I enjoy working with young adults and youth, and I have worked with many individuals who have faced depression and anxiety. Together, we have been able to come up with ways to address their daily symptoms.
I graduated with my BSW from Eastern Michigan University in August 2020 and with my MSW from the University of Michigan in July 2021.
